I was handed this contraption when I made a purchase at ASTONS EXPRESS, one of the participating dining outlets within Asia Square Food Garden, Singapore. Mistaken for a coaster, which later I realized this is a buzzer which indicates my queue number (10) and it will light up and sound when my food is ready for pick-up.
A newfangled queuing system! You don’t have to loiter around the counter; neither do they want you to clutter up. You can find a cosy table to ensconce yourself while waiting for them to prepare your grub. Voilà!
